Meet Drew Floress

Drew Floress has been involved with Camp Big Heart since 2012 and serves as a Board Member. What began as volunteering alongside friends quickly grew into a long-term commitment shaped by meaningful relationships with campers, staff, and fellow volunteers. Camp Big Heart has also played a special role in Drew’s life — he met his wife while volunteering at camp, and they are now happily married with a newborn. Drew supports Camp Big Heart through board service and by assisting with the organization’s technology needs and strategic conversations. Outside of camp, he owns and operates SMB PlanIT, an Atlanta-based managed services provider.

Camp Big Heart means inclusion. At CBH we create a space where individuals with disabilities are seen, valued, and given the freedom to be fully themselves. Camp Big Heart represents inclusion in action, not just in words. Camp Big Heart builds a unique community for our staff and campers. Here, differences aren’t obstacles; they’re part of what makes the camp strong and meaningful. We get the privilege of empowering others—staff, volunteers, and campers—to believe in their abilities and to support one another.
